Clinic Abroad -Madagascar

Todd's layover in Paris.
Madagascar! He got all the kids to make funny faces for the camera. They had a lot of fun with the children there.

They got to see some Lemurs up close.

Cute kid.
Todd really had a good experience there and accomplished all his adjusting numbers. But was glad to be heading home.

Halloween

Trick-r-treating at Palmer.
Elise didn't feel so good so she didn't get as dolled up as planned.

Indiana Jones won "Most Original" for his age group at the Palmer costume party.
Note the Spider on his hat and the snake climbing up his boot.
Indies SO COOL!

There's the pretty princess! SO CUTE!
She would have won an award if I was the judge and had she dressed up for the contest.

Change in plans and Madagascar

Todd got a really great opportunity to precept in Oregon. A Doc there is having shoulder surgery so Todd will be able to adjust all his patience the whole time. (with the DC's coaching) Todd is also going to Madagascar for 2 weeks for a study-a-broad. (About Oct.23-Nov.5 or 7th) Then Part 4 boards is the 14th-16th of November. We planned to move the 17th But just got word TODAY that he is schedualed to take his last boards IN OREGON. It's probably good to get to Oregon earlier But when will he be able to study? -and -How am I going to have everything packed all by myself!?! It's do-able, but this crunches our time a whole lot more! Our plan is to move to Utah, Put most of our stuff in storage then move just what we'll need for three months to Oregon. It would be nice if we found a furnished apartment. I better get packing.

Preschool

Hunter started preschool at Truman Elementary Aug. 12th and is loving it! Austin, Kyison, and Shendal are all in his class.

Glow Frogs

Did you know that if you feed a frog a lighting bug you can see it flashing all the way down to his stomach? We caught a couple leopard frogs and have been having a blast catching bugs and watching the frogs eat them.

Progress plans

Our trip was wonderful and productive. Disappointingly, Cache Valley looked far too saturated with Chiropractors. They say most of the population goes to the same four Doctors and all the new guys struggle. Todd has arranged to precept with a DC in Bountiful, Utah for his last semester. He can stay and work for this same Doctor for a while after. We’re also looking into a couple other options. We all enjoyed spending Quality time with our families on our trip. We were able to go boating, camping, fishing, swimmming, biking, and hiking. (Pictures will come as soon as I can tackle my husband at a time we are both avaliable.) Since the trip; I've been slowly getting things back in order, Our basement had to be cleared out so it's set me behind.

Flooding and Hospitals

The night after I started my blogg our basement flooded. (So I wasn't able to get to my computer to actually Blog anything.) The Kids have been sick all week with a high fever. Elise first, then once she got better Hunter got it. But Sunday he was complaining of a stiff neck. So the Doctor felt it was best that he got checked out. As a result, Todd and Hunter spent most of Father's day in the hospital. But all the tests came back fine. He's just got a bad bug. But the doctor recommended we hold off on our trip to Utah a day to make sure He's O.K. to travel. Todd has just finished his 8th trimester here at Palmer. He's spending these first few days of his break in the clinic. He's getting some good experience and numbers. We're just trying to get the kids all better, pack for our long drive and are anxious for the landlord to get our stinky basement carpet cleaned.
